Ocella is an oral birth control pill that  prevents ovulation with Drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol.  It also causes changes in the lining of your uterus and cervix, which make it harder for the sperm to reach the uterus and the for the egg to become attached to the uterus.

Ocella is  marketed by Teva, in the United States under the label Barr Laboratories, which Teva has acquired since launching of the product.  It’s a generic version of Bayer Schering’s Yasmin and Yaz.  Like Yasmin and Yaz, Ocella is currently the subject of several birth control lawsuits in various states across the country.  If you have been taking Ocella, you want to know about an Ocella Lawsuit in your state.
